A very simple interface:
Press 'b' to make the mouse paint squares black.
Press 'w' to make the mouse paint squares white.
Press 't' to toggle between 'b' mode and 'w' mode.
Press '0' to set the next cell to the right white.
Press '1' to set the next cell to the right black.
Press '<' to undo the last painting of a square.
Press '?' to make the mouse investigate all local possibilities.
Press 'a' to make the mouse start trying to paint everything automatically (the screen will only update once every few seconds).
Press 'q' to stop the automatic painting.
What do the colors mean?
- Blue means the local possibilities have been narrowed down, but not enough to force the square to be black or white.
- Red means an inconsistency has been noticed (so further actions will first undo the last painting of a square, which led to the inconsistency).
